Today, trade barriers continue to decrease and corporations use internationalization as a cornerstone of their strategies to access markets, to reduce risks, and to acquire resources and new knowledge. The MM-Dual Degree program benefits students by providing the basic skills, competences, and understanding required for competent professionals in these corporations.

The BBS MM-Dual Degree Program is designed to help students:

1. Acquire skills required of competent employees in corporations at different stages of internationalization;
2. Understand the most current conceptual and analytical developments in management practices essential to the contemporary manager;
3. Gain insights from a top management viewpoint for developing and implementing sustainable competitive advantages; and
4. Understanding forces affecting corporations that operate in different national environments

Internationally Benchmarked Curricula

The MM-Dual Degree program curriculum was developed with Macquarie University to ensure that students acquire necessary competences before continuing their studies abroad. In this program, students undergo a rigorous learning regimen involving case studies and group work. Upon completion of the program, students qualify for the Magister Management Degree from BINUS University and a master’s degree from Macquarie University in International Business, Commerce in International Business, Commerce in Applied Finance, or Commerce in Marketing.

Students learn from experienced business practitioners theories, concepts, practices, and challenges of managing businesses in Indonesia and overseas.

The BBS and Macquarie University MM-Dual Degree program offers students the opportunity to acquire graduate-level academic training in management within a multicultural learning environment. Working with Macquarie University, BBS designed the flexible MM-Dual Degree program so that students may choose from an array of concentrations in the field of management.

Like most management programs, the MM-Dual Degree program curriculum covers a broad and comprehensive range of topics in business and management. Students taking this program go through a thorough and comprehensive set of management courses in the first three trimesters to prepare themselves for studying abroad.

These courses serve as the foundation of acquiring a Master’s degree in Management. After completing three (3) semesters at BBS, students continue their studies for one (1) semester at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia to complete their studies in International Business, Applied Finance, or Marketing.

The MM Dual Degree program is an opportunity to acquire graduate-level education in a multicultural environment.

Students taking this program will be exposed to a rigorous learning regiment with case studies and group work. The MM-Dual Degree curriculum was specifically developed collaboratively with Macquarie University to ensure a tight fit so that students will acquire the necessary competences before continuing their study abroad. Upon completion of the program, students will qualify for the Magister Management Degree from BINUS UNIVERSITY and a Master in International Business, Master of Commerce in International Business, Master of Commerce in Applied Finance, or Master of Commerce in Marketing from Macquarie University.

BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL MM-Dual Degree is designed for fresh-graduates or those who want to acquire an international academic qualification. Since all course related delivery use the English language, students also will be competent in using English; a significant value added in the professional world. Potential students must bear in mind that in order to complete the program, spending one semester abroad at Macquarie University, Sydney is a must. Students must keep a good academic standing and have the minimum level of English language competence prior to the departure to Australia; otherwise, completing the program will incur additional time.

The MM-Dual Degree program equips students in pursuing a career in an international/multinational business environment or in companies in early stages of internationalization; understanding and experiencing different cultures in an important aspect of this program.
